The U.S Department of Veterans’ Affairs has accredited multiple certification programs for military veterans, spouses and dependents of military veterans. As a result, the U.S Department of Veterans’ Affairs will reimburse 100% of the fees associated with following programs for anyone using their GI Bill benefits. The goal of the certification programs is to help veterans and their dependents gain a competitive advantage over other applicants by possessing additional training and certification in the field of autism or other cognitive disorders.

Certifications Approved By Department Of Veteran’s Affairs
The Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) and Autism Certificate (AC) are autism-specific training and certification programs designed for professionals working with individuals with autism in a healthcare or educational setting. Exam fee includes 14 CEs of training and professional certification once exam is passed.
The Board Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS) and Certified Cognitive Coach (CCC) are training and certification programs designed for professionals working with individuals with autism in an educational setting who may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or anxiety. Exam fee includes 14 CEs of training and professional certification once exam is passed.
The Board Certified Telepractice Specialist (BCTS) and Telepractice Facilitator Certification (TFC) are teletherapy-specific training and certification programs designed for professionals providing virtual services. Exam fee includes 8 CEs (BCTS) or 5 CEs (TFC) of training and professional certification once exam is passed.
The Advanced Certified Autism Specialist (ACAS) and Advanced Autism Certificate (AAC) are autism-specific training and certification programs designed for professionals working with individuals with autism in a healthcare or educational setting who want advanced training in behavioral techniques as well as a deeper understanding of autism. Exam fee includes 14 CEs of training in autism and 21 CEs in Applied Behavioral Analysis, as well as professional certification once exam is passed.
The Student Mental Health Certificate (SMHC) training and certification program is designed for professionals working with students an educational setting. There is currently a mental health crisis in schools and professionals who work with these students need to be able to better identify and understand common mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention and how to work with behavioral impacts of these needs. Exam fee includes 14 CEs of training and professional certification once exam is passed.
