LearningRx Katy has become a Board Certified Cognitive Center (BCCC), granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The BCCC designation is granted to organizations whose staff have completed an evidence-based training and certification program focused on autism, ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia.
For more than 35 years, LearningRx has provided professionally delivered cognitive training to clients who range in age from 5 to 95. Their “brain trainers” sit one-on-one with clients and use a variety of hands-on manipulatives to train cognitive skills including working and long-term memory, visual and auditory processing, reasoning skills, processing speed, and attention.
For more than 20 years, IBCCES has been the industry leader in cognitive disorder training and certification for education, healthcare, and corporate professionals around the globe. IBCCES provides evidence-based training and certification programs created in conjunction with clinical experts and individuals with autism in order to provide professionals serving individuals with cognitive disorders a better understanding of what these disorders are, industry best practices, varied perspectives, and the latest research in these areas.
