Pinal County Historical Museum has earned the Certified Autism Center™ designation through the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). IBCCES’ training and certification provides museum staff and volunteers the tools and resources to help their autistic guests and those with sensory sensitivities have a memorable visit.
The City of Mesa is maintaining its promise to serve people of all abilities. The Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department has once again received the Certified Autism Center™ designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). In addition, the City is also joining the Global WeThe15 campaign, which aims to represent and transform the lives of persons with disabilities. Through this campaign, Mesa commits to removing barriers faced by persons with disabilities and promote respect and inclusivity.  In 2019 the City of Mesa department became the first parks and recreation organization in the world to obtain the certification, which demonstrates the Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department’s commitment to ensuring guests with autism and sensory sensitivities have the best possible experience at its facilities.
The Athena Center for Special Education is now a Certified Autism Centerâ„¢, designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), and is the second center in Bahrain to earn this designation. To meet the CAC requirements, center staff completed a training and certification program to help them ensure autistic students can have optimal educational outcomes.
Q’ Corner is now a Certified Autism Centerâ„¢, designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The Q’s team has completed autism training and certification through IBCCES to build upon their ability to create an inclusive atmosphere for children of all needs.Â
Care & Share Thrift Shoppes is now a Certified Autism Centerâ„¢, designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). To earn the designation, staff have completed autism training and certification in order to better understand and work with autistic visitors and supporters.
Boeing Mesa – Electrical Center of Excellence (EcoE) has earned the Certified Neurodiverse Workplaceâ„¢(CNW) designation granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This designation means that the Electrical Center team has completed a training and certification program designed to help managers and HR professionals understand and attract neurodiverse workers and assist team members to work better together.
My CAS credential helps clients quickly identify me as a professional proficient in ASD treatment in my field. The credential lets clients know that I have completed extra training to understand and treat ASD as a mental health clinician. My CAS credentials has helped me bring in many new clients from rural surrounding communities and for that I am thankful.
