Since 2021 Kind Hospitality has worked to enhance and build upon its Certified Autism Centerâ„¢(CAC) designation. Recently the team completed the recertification process, which includes ongoing team training with new learnings and best practices to build understanding and ways to serve autistic guests better at all of the locations managed by Kind Hospitality.Â
12 West Brewing is now a Certified Autism Center (CAC), a designation granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). 12 West joins over 30 organizations in the Mesa area that have completed this program as part of the city’s Autism Certified City designation.
Since becoming a Certified Autism Center™ in 2019, Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa has been an important partner to help maintain Mesa’s city designation as an Autism Certified City. This year, the hotel renewed its commitment to meeting the CAC standards, designated by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), which require staff to complete a training and certification program to better understand and welcome autistic guests and their families.
The Oakland Athletics Spring Training staff at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz., have completed the process to become a Certified Autism Center™. The CAC designation is granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) which demonstrates the organization’s commitment to ensuring visitors with autism and sensory needs have the best possible experience during Spring Training events.
Norris Air is the first HVAC company in the country to earn the Certified Autism Center designation™ (CAC), granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Completing the program means that Norris Air staff are now better equipped to engage with families and individuals with autism or other sensory needs.
Norris Air is a family owned business offering air conditioning and heating system installation, maintenance and repair since 1973. They are joining an expanding group of organizations that are becoming certified as part of an initiative started by Visit Mesa to further that community’s goal to become the most autism inclusive in the world.

To address this need, Courtyard Phoenix Mesa has earned the designation of Certified Autism Center (CAC), awarded by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The certification means that the hotel is committed to serving guests with autism and sensory needs and have completed training to ensure guests can enjoy the best possible experience.
The Courtyard Phoenix Mesa also joins a growing number of organizations that are becoming certified in Arizona, a movement inspired by the work of the Visit Mesa organization and that community’s goal to become the most autism inclusive in the world.
